Like many of you feeling the same way I’m getting ready for the ice season and I was looking around at some spots to check out that maybe more of “backcountry” ice fishing trips. I noticed on the DEC site that Tanaher and the neighboring Mill/Murrey pond in the Elizabethtown area on the way to Lincoln Pond are open to ice fish. I was wondering if anyone had ever fished them or hiked back in there and what it was like? Thank you very much in advance for any information!
