can someone identify?

Spent some time on a little trib today that I believe has a large wild fish population. by believe i mean i mean i believe many of the fish are wild. the rainbows are gorgeous. I had a decent day, this guy is kind of a monster for what normally comes out of the stream...





real reason I am posting is...can someone help me identify this horrific looking bug? Bioguide you got anything? I've never seen anything like it before. looked like a cross between a scorpion and a mantis
