Paddling in/around Ogonquit Maine???

MDB and I are gonna take a few days starting this Sunday to go to Ogonquit, Maine.

We are bringing both of our solo canoes.
Looking for day trip suggestions for paddling and day hikes.
MDB prefers smaller water, meandering streams, even tidal marshes if not too buggy. Any carries should be of the parking area to launch sort...
I'll paddle anything wet, as some of you may know, but don't care for big lakes.
