Short, flat hikes to interesting places?

Hi all,

We're coming down for a week in September and my Mom is joining us.

The boys and I will be doing a few high peaks but the rest of the week will be quality time with grandma.

We're going to see if she can handle Owl's Head. It was our first hike so it will be fun to visit again before it's closed.

If she can handle that we'll move on to Mt. Jo and Baxter but I suspect that Owl's Head will be more than enough.

So how about short, flat hikes to interesting places? South Side Trail to Tenderfoot comes immediately to mind. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Any other suggestions?
