Luck ??
Targeting Large Mouth Bass towards the shore line when I heard I splash behind me towards the middle of the lake. Another splash and I tossed the rubber worm and hooked up. Assumed it was a decent bass but as it got closer to the boat realized it was a nice trout. (This particular lake to my knowledge is not known for much trout activity)
Guess is 16 - 18 inches and no clue on the weight. Landed on a 5'6" ultra-light spinning rod - 4 pound test and no net. Did my best at reviving and she/he swam away hopefully to live another day.
Curious what some folks would guess weight wise.
