There's a solid 3' of snow in the woods along Rte 8. I skied the trail to Stewart's Bridge and then to Cod Pond, but didn't complete the loop. I was breaking 12" of packing snow from Wednesday's storm all the way. No crust on the snow, just great wettish powder, deep. Fischer Outtabounds skis, 88/68/78, Bring your longest ski poles!
