Snowshoeing at Boreas Ponds

So I was thinking of going to snowshoe up at Boreas Ponds tomorrow but I'm having trouble to find up to date information about what is available. Specifically do you have to park on Blue Ridge Road or can you go up Gulf Brook Road to park there? Is Gulf Brook Road plowed? If so, how far from any Gulf Brook Rd parking to the ponds? Just trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thank you.
