Hello all... I was in my local big box home center the other day and I noticed that they were selling bundles of firewood and small, flat sheets, if you will- of kindling. Both items had a sticker on them that read something like "New York State certified- parasite free" wood, as if it is OK to transport into NY State. I would never do that, but was wondering, isn't ALL out of state firewood (or wood that is from more than 50 miles away) banned in New York...regardless of what the labels might read??
