We snowshoed into Stony Pond from 28N. We were the first group since the new snow. Trail conditions were very good. Just a few downed trees to step over/duck under and a few wet spots in the trail to navigate around. It was very quiet at the pond. I was surprised when we reached the pond and there was a picnic table, but no lean-to! It was moved back into the woods since the last time I had been there. Trailhead was plowed with plenty of room to park off of the road.
