Popular ski trails in northern Vermont

I want to take my friend in northern vermont skiing this weekend, preferably something ungroomed but popular enough for trail to be broken. Small to moderate hills good for a first timer, any suggestions?

I was thinking maybe Lake Carmi, I know there are nature trails there. Anyone know if they are usually broken during the winter? Any hills in the mix? Thanks!

Or a website with good info would be helpful too. I couldnt find much on ski trails other than groomed centers.
