Snowshoeing

Hi all.

Hoping to take a couple days mid next week in Lake Placid area for some snowshoeing. I'm fairly new to the activity and going solo, any suggestions? Not looking for lots of miles, but good sites are a plus. Right now considering possibly Mt. Jo and / or Stag Brook Falls.

Any input on these, or other suggestions, would be great! Thanks in advance.
