The wife and I stopped for a visit to the Salmon River Fish Hatchery in Altmar, NY today.
The river and entrance to the hatchery Fish ladder was full of fish. They say it’s one of the largest Salmon runs in recent history on the Salmon River.
You could have walked across the river on the backs of the Salmon and steelheads. If anyone is in that area it’s worth visiting, amazing sight.
