Ponds in June

Been away from this forum for a couple of years after moving out of state. Planning a June trip to the Adirondacks to hit backcountry ponds (location still to be decided) but was wondering how late into June the ponds typically fish well. Most of my pond fishing used to be earlier in the spring or later in the fall so am unsure as to what to expect in June. Right now preferred weekends look like either June 6 or June 20 with a preference for the later if the fishing will hold up by then.

So obviously things change from year to year, but what can I generally expect that time of year? Also, would location play a significant role? (i.e 5 ponds vs. SRCA)
