If anyone on here is a fan of live roots music, I highly recommend catching Donna the Buffalo at the Waterhole in Saranac Lake Wednesday night. I was just thinking it would be nice to hear them and looked at the schedule and saw this gig. Sadly I won't be venturing that far to catch them. They are definitely a rock band, the lead guitarist is fantastic and shares the songwriting and singing duties with a woman who has a great voice (she plays acoustic guitar, electric fiddle, accordion, scrub board- very talented). They really get a groove going, often on zydeco songs, to get you dancing.
