Wondered if anyone has hiked(bushwhacked) from the southeast leanto to the Catamount summit? From the top map there are a couple of streams, one close to the leant, and another that's southwest of the leant, that there's a trail that starts out along the stream, that goes not even a quarter mile before you have to bushwhack and follow the stream which appears to start close to the ridge along the summit. There appears to be a ridge that runs parallel to the stream that one could follow as a guide? Appears to be much quicker if you're camping at Taylor Pond, then having to paddle back to the boat launch and drive around to the trailhead
