jacket recommendation

Hope everyone enjoyed their summer, the overnight temps have been fantastic and hopefully we'll be good to go soon. on that note, i am going to do some scouting hikes, anyone been out that has measured any surface temps?

main reason for the post is i want to invest in a good jacket for pond fishing this fall. there's a million of them and i have a few in mind but looking for anyone that has had a good experience with one. warm, windproof, let me know
