Start the46ers from the north in September

Apologies in advance for leaning on y'all and not doing more research, but we'll be in the Saranac area in early September (like, 48 hours from now). Last weekend we climbed Ampersand in the rain, heh. Great view, and rainbows, in your mind.... The plan is to make a start on the 46ers. Would anyone please advise us on a way to cross one or two peaks off the list this weekend? The other weekend day is to be spent paddling.
