I was wondering if anyone might have some input on how to get to the trail head for Brook Trout Lake if you were coming in from Wakely Damn Recreational Area/Cedar River Road near the golf course as opposed to the other entrance near Limekiln lake. I have been told that the ride is about 18 miles down the dirt road but I am not sure if there are any particular turnoffs along the away or how well marked it is. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
