I am thinking of doing a solo trip to 3 Ponds, down to Hell Devil Dam and over to Silver Lake, returning on the NLP. I did this trip years and years ago in the winter, heading NW from the "4th" pond, through the head waters of the NBWR, over Silver Lake Mountain. I'm afraid that route would be too "wet" in the summer. Anyone have any thoughts?
