Not a whole heck to report other than that my daughter & I had a great time being together & exploring an area we had not yet visited in 20 years of camping in the ADK's. We paddled approx. 8 miles into site #40, from the lower dam put-in, as our 1st choice of #18 was taken. It was getting a bit late so we went with a site that we knew was available rather than continuing to search out a vacant site. We swam, fished w/minimal luck, paddled & explored while updating each other on our lives. While these trips are always memorable they grow more special now than ever since she moved out 2 years ago.
