I recently explored another new place of remarkable beauty on SGL 57.* I saw the lost mine, caves, moss chasms, and ice flows with deep spruce forests.* The Caves were impressive, formed by the separation of monstrous boulders 40 feet tall.* The place was mysterious, as my compass would not work properly, north would point west, south, and east.* I then hiked down to Red Brook to see it scenic falls and glacial blue ice columns.*
