Valley hikes south of the High Peaks?

I'm interested in doing a 2-3 day valley hike and have noted a possibility that would connect Kings Flow with the Sacandaga and Rte 8 (with perhaps a side dish of whacking a small peak or two) . I also noticed a combination trail-peak-bushwhack that would connect Pillsbury with Little Moose (although I suppose the Moose R. plains road is not open yet). I have done a loop through West Canada Lakes but wondered if there were side loops possible or with two cars perhaps stretching the hike out along the NPT.

Any other ideas?
