Brook Trout Fishing Adirondack Mountain Kettle Ponds

You have to carry your gear and boats, paddle across the larger lakes, then do more carries and more paddling, then repeat that again before you reach these kettle ponds. We caught ~16 brook trout of varying sizes (9, 12, 14, and 18") over 2 days and we let 1/2 of them go. Larry caught the largest... an 18" bruiser and his personal best. I caught the most and my personal best brook trout of 14". This trip secured a prominent place in our memory banks...
