I hiked Spruce Mountain this morning. Conditions were outstanding. I broke trail through about 4-6 inches of new snow that fell overnight. The new trail is very well graded for winter conditions. Parking at the bottom was no problem, there were no cars or snowmobile trailers when I arrived. Trail is well marked, but the sign at the trailhead is now missing. There is a very good base of snow in this area and the trail is well packed/easy to follow.
