Smelt season is closed from April 1 to May 15
Use or possession of smelt is prohibited during the closed season
Smelt season is open from May 16 to March 31
Any size smelt may be taken
Daily limit is 25
DIP-NETTING FOR SMELT IS PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES

Anglers are reminded the regulations for fishing for any species in Lake George tributaries are:

Regulation applies from the mouth of the tributary upstream to the first barrier impassable by fish
Fishing is prohibited from October 1 to March 31
Fishing is prohibited between 10 pm and 5 am from April 1 to May 15
