Kids On The Trail Challenge (Suggestions for Short Hikes)

Stumbled across the Kids On The Trail Challenge from the Laurentian Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club.

To receive a patch, children must complete at least two hikes from each section of the Adirondacks for a total of 16 hikes.

ADK sells a book describing the 62 possible hikes.

The idea is to introducing children to hiking in general and the park specifically but the list of 62 hikes is a nice resource for anyone looking to explore different areas of the park.
