First time poster, long time lurker.
Name's Matt. Will be hiking into Pharaoh Lake (and hopefully grabbing a lean-to) via Putnam Pond tomorrow morning with some family for the night. It's been a while since I've been up to Pharaoh. The last time was at least 10 years ago and a few times before that, and they were from Beaver Pond Road.
Anything I need to look out for coming from Putnam Pond? I think the plan is to park at the campground and head south from there. Anyone hike in from both angles? Any major differences? How crowded do you think it might be? I hear the weather is supposed to be awesome.
Either way, hope to have some nice pics to share afterwards!
