Saranac trip in Late Oct

Hi All,

First post so I'll just start with a quick Bio.

I currently paddle an old Town I have had for 15 years. Looking to buy a better performing tripper for trips like the one I'm about to take.

Started paddling in Miami, mostly Everglades National Park. I'm looking to make enjoy the Adirondacks like I did the ENP.



I did take a trip out there like 3 years ago. Started at the lower part of Middle Saranac and camped out on Tick Island. It was an overnight I absolutely enjoyed.



Having said all of that I'm looking to make another trip at the end of October.



Can someone give suggestions on any nice campgrounds, loops and weather knowledge for that time of year?



Any inför would be greatly appreciated.
