So its that fabulous time of year and after getting myself some snow shoes I'm ready to rock. However I've notice over some recently cold hunting days, I've realised my merino wool hiking Sox aren't as warm sitting in the stand.
So I started looking for a new pair of the warmest wool socks I can find... After several stores. I've found that the advertised "warm/article/0*" socks tend to either have 50-70% wool and it is either worsted or merino wool...
My merino wool. Hikers are great... But even with 2 pair on my toes are numb... Unfortunately I don't know their content %'s...
So thoughts on worsted vs merino and 50 vs 70% for the warmest socks?
