Leaving from the Upper Works around 6 am, before sun up, it was cold but not too bad. On snowshoes the path to Flowed Lands was in good shape and well packed down and we made it there in about 2 hours. There were clear skies and bright sunshine which made the trek over Flowed Lands very nice. Then it was onto the trail up to Lake Tear and once there we went up a fairly steep grade to the top of Gray, and it was good visibility from there, as well as Skylight, which we hopped over to after Gray. From the top of Skylight we made it back to Upper Works in 4 hours---all in all a great day in the woods.
