Jessup River Road from Route 30?

I am planning to hike a few sections of the NPT this summer. I see a parking site at the end of Jessup River Road from Route 30, which would take me into the Perkins Clearing Easement to get access to the West Canada Lake Wilderness.

How smooth/rocky is this Jessup River Road, safe for a regular car?

Otherwise, I'll just brute-force myself from Piseco to Moose River Recreation Area.
