Stayed close to home today bushwhacking the front side of Buck Mt.Shortly after the 1st stream crossing and a hairpin turn to the R head L up the open ridge.The woods are very open and at times you feel like your in the scene from "A Sound of Music" where they're dancing thru fields of grass.The views just keep coming the higher you go until you intersect the hiking trail.From here you can head L for the summit but IMO you've already sampled the best so back to the car for me.http://ift.tt/2c3KQFj Some pics.
