Lake Clear to Upper Saranac?

Hi all, wondering if the route via the Lake Clear outlet (& through Mill Pond, if I have that name correct) is doable?
In searching posts here I see that you can go from Little Clear via Hatchery Brook to Upper Saranac, but I’m wondering about this other section before the Lake Clear outlet meets Hatchery Brook.
