My SO and I are planning on a paddle/hike tomorrow near Garnet Lake in Johnsburg. Have the black flies hatched already? Is it going to be unbearable? Thinking of paddling across Garnet and hiking in to Lixard for lunch. I'm hoping someone has hiked around Warren County recently so I can get a relevant trip report (I imagine further north would be much different). Thanks for any feedback!
