I wasn't sure what forum category to post this under so I figured general discussion would be the best place...
Any of you guys ever experience this or survive it? I think I'm headed for it. I've lead a real active life to this point and have effectively kicked the hell out of my feet. My right foot is finally quitting on me. I am going to try all the non surgical stuff (gel pads and toe stretchers) and see if I can stop it from getting worse until the end of my hiking season (Early August: I coach HS football 7 days a week from then to December), and then weigh the heavier options... ie surgery.
Now I may be getting ahead of myself because I haven't even been evaluated by a pro yet, but I'm nervous. I have long told my wife, "I'd give an arm to keep my legs," because put simply, I need the woods.
Any info as far as experiences or recovery time would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jerry
