Seeking advice - Memorial Day CL50

Hey all. Love the forums. Been a lurker for a while.

Planning a 4-day hike of the cranberry lake 50 coming up this weekend.

I'm looking to get an idea of the trail conditions - if known - and some tips on parking. I'd like to start at Wanakena and head S/SE from there, completing a counter-clockwise circuit.

I already know to expect some rain showers Friday-Saturday, and I'm packing for wet weather (rain coat, nylon clothes, dry clothes packed).

Anything else I should know or be wary of? You may forego any discussion of the local insect population. I already know enough to realize I'm in for enough of that to not even bother packing food when I can just open my mouth and inhale some protein right out of the air.

Are bears a nuisance in the area this time of year? I've got my bear hang, but no canister. Hoping odor-locking bags and a high PCT hang will be enough to save my GORP.

How about flooding? I've seen some videos and pictures of the area in dryer times and know that beaver dams are typical and flooding is to be expected.

Thanks for any and all input.
