What do you guys think? I don't believe this at all, and I don't see any reliable references.
If that study is true, a better explanation might be that perhaps the native men weren't performing well after having their hair cut because having short hair felt foreign to them, and made them feel uncomfortable or self conscious.
And on a side note, most of my male friends have long hair...and they are about as perceptive as dead plankton floating in water.
