So I don't mind going a little on the heavy side to eat better...
And I actually threw something together that was quite tasty on my most recent backpacking trip:
Shell pasta, pesto sauce, small can of peas, small can of carrots, and 2 NASTY cans of chicken!
The chicken was DISGUSTING and the weakest part of an otherwise tasty meal...
And it got me to thinking...
HOW LONG would delicious Italian pre-cooked vacuum sealed chicken cutlets last on a backpacking trip?
If I can get at least 4 days out of vacuum sealed perishables I am going to invest in one!
