Aiden Lair

I know some of the history of the Lodge but was Aiden Lair also the name of the area or hamlet? I am researching a Forest Ranger named Lee Griffen whose official station was listed as Aiden Lair (1945-1959). I am wondering if he lived or maintained an office at the Lodge or if there were other homes in the area. I would have thought his station would have been listed as Minerva otherwise. I am also wondering if the Griffin lean-to in Flowed lands was named after him and there has been a spelling error that has been carried forward?
