Hiking along it one winter I had to wonder...with deep enough snow pack, could you drop off the arete right into the slide bowl? The krummholz is pretty tight there but if you were above it on consolidated snow pack... Not me of course, some good skier haha.
Also, just below the summit, along the Connery Pond trail is sign pointing to the ORDA ski trails. I always wondered where that would put you. A quick look at google earth bears evidence of a trail that puts you at the little Whiteface summit but I bet you could gain slide access that way too.
