Now that I have finished my section hike of the NPT, I am looking to tackle a few of the hi-peaks with Mount Marcy being my primary objective.
I am looking for recommendations on the best way to tackle Mount Marcy while incorporating it into a 2-to-3 day backpacking trip with my 9 and 10/11 year old daughters with in the next month or so (Oct 2014). I am not entirely familiar with the area so any help would be greatly appreciated.
