I'm hoping to go and watch a HEMA event in a few weeks and would like to take some photos there. I'm a kinda newb to cameras, so half the reason I am taking photos is for practice.
Anyone got any ideas or tips etc they can share about taking pics at an MA event? Anything from composition to camera settings etc etc.
The event is in sports hall and looking at videos and photos from previous events I'd say the lighting is quite good. It's in the day too, so not like I am trying to take shots of fighters in a ring from 30 rows back. There's not many spectators and it seems you can just sit at the side of the hall etc so I guess finding a good camping spot will be ok.
