instructor programmes, worth it?

Ok so in the last few weeks Ive become aware of different instructor programmes. Short term, intensive training dawn till dusk for X currency and if you do good, at the end you get a teaching liscence. I've found a few to give examples

theres an 18 month one in london I found n southern mantis kung fu, and its made of 18 one per month seminars and of course: home practice and some written work if I am looking at this correctly. At the end if you pass, you get to teach it.

But can you really be a competant teacher of something in 18 months? Took me from 2008 till now to get to a 1st dan in bujinkan so Im not sure (or perhaps Im just a slower learner than others)

Likewise, I also found that the BKMA are offering a 21 day course that if you pass, gives you the right to teach krav maga. That seems pretty short to me, even if it is 8 hours a day training.

These look interesting, and definitely good credentials as far as martial arts teaching is concerned (I have considered the idea as something in the future once I get older. But would these courses necessarily be actual replacements to training in any of these styles regularly?
