Advice on campsites near Johns Brook Lodge?

I'm wondering where I can find a good campsite near Johns Brook Lodge (or better still, near the DEC Interior Outpost). I'll be coming from the Garden this coming Monday and hiking Gothics the next day. I don't want to hike in much further than the DEC outpost.
