Feel free to post this years reports and share your stories. As of today 12-9-16 i scouted waters in the st regis canoe area back to saranac lake. Checked about everything in between. The big water like lake clear still had a lot of open water. As for the smaller shallow ponds a lot where locked up from shore to shore. However maybe 1/2 inch of ice. didn't even get a chance to walk out to drill. Extended for cast looks super cold so i will keep everyone posted next weekend when i go to test it all out again.
