We hiked Baldhead Mtn on 12/21/16 from Tucker Rd. We climbed the mountain from the south side, there are many open spots on the way up with nice southerly views toward Hadley and Roundtop. There are also good views from openings around the summit. I really like the view north toward Moose, Crane, and Gore. We did not make the trek over to Moose. We used micro spikes since there was not enough snow for snowshoes, but that has probably changed by now. The road was plowed wide enough for us to safely park along the shoulder.
