Spent a couple days on the Flow, site #4, it's big and comfortable, but not as big as #3.
BTW, the online DEC map (PDF) is not accurate. Not counting the sites at the dam, there are 6 sites on the flow. 5 on the E shore, 1 on the W shore where the NPT approaches the Flow.
Site #4 has a great view of Payne Mt and the cliff bands that we didn't bushwhack. (Future forays will be paddle in from Payne Brook, bushwhack up Payne to the cliffs.)
I did check out #3 on a bluff with much room and a little beach.
We did paddle up Buell Brook as far as possible, it's worth the effort.
Large group on #6 had a stomping bull moose under their hammocks at 2:30 AM...many flashlights and a confused guy wandered off without incident.
Colors are near peak, my buddy (hickoryskier) tried to wake me for a sunrise rainbow photo, I took too long to put on my rain gear to get the whole thing.
Lots of wind.
Put in with Snowy in the background
