I've got a few canoes and kayaks for sale , thought I'd list them here in case any of you all are interested.
Mohawk XL14 Canoe $350. Boat is in good but well used condition Foam pedestal seat, thigh straps no air bags.
Mad River Explorer 16' Royalex $300. Hull is in good well use condition but needs new gunwales, if I don't sell it I'll get around to it myself one day, just to many projects right now.
Old Town HW 16' $900. 1950 wood canvas that has be fiberglassed, glass looks rough but is very sound. Hull, planking ribs etc are all in good condition, a gunwale is cracked . I've been paddling it just the way it is for 20 years, my favorite fishing boat. I've been wanting to strip the glass , re-canvas and restore, Another project I've been going to get around to for years.
C-1 slalom (covered) canoe $250, built by Apple Line , don't know the exact model name but may be one of the bat series. Very light some carbon it it , earlier low volume boat with slight wings to meet the old width rules. Again well used but in good solid condition. Good boat for someone that wants to get into C-1 slalom racing.
Perception Arc Whitewater Kayak, $250. 9' boat that is stuck in between, not a play boat but not a creek boat either, just a good all round river runner. Quite good condition with a very comfortable seat.
Skin on Frame sea kayak, $800. 17' by 19" about 30 pounds, quite a work of craftsmanship, older boat but still a very solid very paddleable kayak. Would also look great up on the wall of a restaurant or some such place .
I have or can get pictures of any of these if your interested. I live in Connecticut but I get up to the Adirondacks quite often and could make arrangements to meet you up there some time with any of the above boats. Actually I plan to me at the gathering of forum members this weekend at Lake Harris in Newcomb.
