Looking to hike somewhere near Marcy Dam for Memorial Day. Everyone seems to say Nat Geo has the best map but then other people say the scale is too large for proper navigation. The only other respected map it seems is the AMC one, but they stopped printing it and now use the Nat Geo one. Am I missing something? What do hikers use?
