Marcy Dam Lean To Status?

I'm planning my yearly trip to the ADks and last year (Aug '13) upon coming through the Marcy Dam area en route to the Kagel Lean To, it appeared that the DEC was either refurbishing or removing the lean to shelters around Marcy Dam.



Can anyone provide current info? Are the shelters gone? Were they refurbished?
